Status of Facilities

The health and safety of LPRCA staff and our communities is of utmost importance and LPRCA is following all recommendations from Provincial and regional health experts. We are committed to providing quality service to our communities and continues to do so in a manner that is safe for everyone. Conservation Education Centre

Closed to the public for the 2022 season. Learn about the ongoing Education Centre revitalization project!

Backhouse Historic Site

All historic site buildings are closed to the public for the 2022 season. Self-guided tours of the Historic Site (building exteriors only) are permitted, a map of the site can be obtained from the gatehouse.

Conservation Areas:

LPRCA passive use Conservation Areas are accessible to the public from dawn until dusk daily, unless otherwise noted. Please follow all provincial and local health recommendations.
