Conservation Land Strategy

Under the Conservation Authorities Act and Ontario Regulation 686/21, every Conservation Authority in Ontario is required to prepare a Conservation Area Strategy (Strategy). The purpose of the Strategy is to provide an integrated, high-level framework that helps guide manage, and inform future decision-making on all LPRCA-owned and controlled lands. To be clear that LPRCA’s Strategy encompasses all of the Authority’s lands, LPRCA has modified the name of said strategy to Conservation Land Strategy.

Public Information Session

LPRCA held a public information session at the LPRCA administration building where members of the public were able to drop-in to ask questions and make comments on the draft strategy. It was held,
