Lend the environment a helping hand – volunteer with us!

Volunteer opportunities are great for those looking to help on a one-time basis or on specific projects. Community groups and individual volunteers can assist with environmental initiatives such as tree planting and park clean-up days.

If you are interested in volunteering with LPRCA, submit a volunteer application form by:

• • Completing the digital volunteer form, or
  • Downloading a printable volunteer form, filling it out and submitting it to 4 Elm Street, Tillsonburg, ON N4G 0C4 or faxing it to 519-842-7123.

Backus… where history meets nature. Share your love of the great outdoors or Ontario’s history by volunteering at Backus Heritage Conservation Area.

Whether your interest is being an interpreter in the Heritage Village, assisting with special events, playing a role in conservation and heritage education programs, caring for buildings and gardens, or leading nature walks, we want to hear from you! Our volunteers welcome, engage and inspire visitors to help protect the environment and our cultural heritage. It’s our volunteers that make Backus shine.
