This 386 acre site is located along the Lake Erie shoreline north of US Route # 6 and State Route # 2, east of Sandusky, Ohio. The site provides some of the last remaining contiguous undeveloped stretch of Lake Erie shoreline in eastern Ohio. Natural habitats range from old fields, hardwood forests, woodland swamps, cattail marshes, and a barrier sand beach. This area is known to attract nearly 300 bird species and provides habitat for many kinds of wildflowers. Species include Cardinal Flower, Dutchman's Breeches, Cut-Leaved Toothwort, Trout Lilies, Trilliums, and Wild Ginger.
