ADMINISTRATIVE FEES FOR

APPLICATIONS FOR PERMIT UNDER THE LPRCA

FILL, CONSTRUCTION AND ALTERATION

TO WATERWAYS REGULATION

APPLICATION FEE AND REGULATED ACTIVITY

$100.00

* Filling, or removal of fill involving less than 50 cubic metres of material, and/or regrading of an area of up to 50 square metres.

* Minor watercourse alteration (eg. replacement of a small culvert or structure)

* Construction ( less than 100 square feet total area ).

$200.00

* Filling ,or removal of fill involving up to 500 cubic metres, and/or regrading an area of up to 500 square metres.

* Watercourse alteration (eg. new culvert or erosion protection work).

* Construction ( 100 - 200 square feet total area ).

$400.00

* Filling, or removal of fill involving an area of greater than 500 cubic metres, or regrading of an area of over 500 square metres.

* Major watercourse alteration (eg. dam, stream diversion)

* Construction (> 200 square feet total area).

$70.00

* Permit extension or renewal ( if requested prior to expiry of original).

2 X FEE

* Permit applied for after the fact ( after Violation Notice has been issued ).

* Initial fee is based on what is there at time of violation. Second half of fee is based on proposal.


- In the event of an overlap in fee criteria, it shall be assumed that the higher fee is appropriate.

- There is no administrative fee for Hearings pursuant to this Regulation.

- Municipalities may qualify to be exempt from the fee schedule but not the requirement to obtain a permit

- Projects under the Drainage Act carried out by, or on behalf of, the Municipality are exempt from this fee schedule

- Projects carried out by the LPRCA or under the supervision of the Conservation Services Program are exempt from this fee schedule

- This fee schedule is effective as of March 1, 2003. The Long Point Region Conservation Authority reserves the right to revise this fee schedule at any time without notice.
