This 846 acre site is mainly a recreational resort with cabins, camping, and a golf course. Punderson Lake (150 acres) is home to a variety of shorebirds and waterfowl including Great Blue Herons, Canada geese, and wood ducks. Beavers, Great Horned owls, White-tailed Deer, Opossum, and Raccoons are also found within the park. The vegetation is very diverse including a wide range of wildflowers such as Wild Geranium, Buttercup, Blue-eyed Grass, and Pennywort.
