War of 1812 Re-enactment (Day 2)

Enjoy the sights and sounds of this colourful event.  Visit with the soldiers who have set up camp in the Heritage Village.  Shop at one-of-a-kind merchants and watch period demonstrations just steps away from the military encampent and battlefield.  Battle re-enactment at 2 pm is the feature event of the day.  Childen can take part in mini militia on the parade field following afternoon battle. Stop by the Backhouse Grist Mill to hear the story of the "Mill that Didn’t Burn in 1812 Norfolk County." Encampment, Sutlery, Backhouse Mill and Heritage Village open 10 am until 4 pm.
