This 698 acre site is located on the Lake Erie shoreline in northeastern Ohio. The site includes a natural beach, several areas of freshwater marsh, and mature interior woodlots. The beach areas contain plants that are rare in Ohio, but characteristic of the Atlantic coast environment, including Sea Rocket, Seaside Spurge, Beach Pea, and Silverweed. The marshes contain Swamp Smartweed, Leafy Sedge, and various submerged aquatic species. White Oak is the primary forest species in the woodlots.
