This 1152 acre site is located on the Marblehead Peninsula, north of Sandusky, Ohio and lies on the fringe of Ohio's prairie marsh zone. Large numbers of migratory waterfowl can be found in the area, including ducks, geese, gulls, and terns. The Middle Harbor is a game sanctuary where Black-crowned Night Herons, Egrets, Great Blue Herons, and other shore birds find refuge.
